An individual medical review. An informed decision.

What this area covers

Type 1 and type 2 diabetes, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease and liver cirrhosis. Conditions of the pancreas, gut and liver where chronic inflammation and tissue damage have set in, and where conventional care manages the numbers without changing the underlying picture.

Who we evaluate

Adults with a diagnosed digestive or metabolic condition whose control or quality of life remains limited under conventional care may be candidates. Candidacy is decided by our physicians after a medical review of your history, recent blood work and current treatment, never by a form. Active infection, certain cancers and some other conditions rule treatment out.

Questions

Asked before, answered plainly.

Will I be able to stop insulin or my other medication?

We do not promise that, and any change to your medication is a decision for you and your physicians together. Treatment is studied for its effect on inflammation and metabolic function, not as a replacement for your current care.

How are the cells given?

Usually by intravenous delivery. The route is decided by our physicians after reviewing your case.

Can I be treated with active colitis or Crohn's symptoms?

Timing is part of the medical review. Your physicians will advise whether to treat now or wait for a calmer period.

Who is not a candidate?

Active infection, certain cancers, advanced liver disease where travel is not advisable, and some other conditions rule treatment out. Your medical review determines candidacy, not this page.
