An individual medical review. An informed decision.

How stem cell therapy may help with psoriasis

Psoriasis is an immune condition first and a skin condition second. Overactive immune signals tell skin cells to renew far faster than they should, and the excess builds into thick, scaling plaques. Creams, light therapy and biologic medication calm the surface or suppress the immune system broadly; they do not settle the inflammation driving it.

Concerns to discuss with your care team

Thick, scaling plaques

Raised, silvery patches on elbows, knees, scalp and lower back that crack and return.

Relentless itch

The itch that interrupts sleep, concentration and every quiet moment.

Nail and joint changes

Pitted, lifting nails, and the stiff, swollen joints of psoriatic arthritis.

Covering up

Long sleeves in warm weather. The pool skipped. A condition managed in public as much as in the mirror.

Who may be a candidate

Adults with dermatologist-diagnosed psoriasis whose plaques, itch or joint symptoms persist despite topical, light or biologic therapy may be evaluated. Candidacy is decided by our physicians after a medical review of your history, your current treatment, recent blood work and any joint involvement, never by a form.

Treatment is not offered where there is active infection, certain cancers, or other conditions identified in review.

The Cellebration approach

Questions

Asked before, answered plainly.

Is this a skin treatment?

No. Psoriasis begins in the immune system, and the plaques are the visible result. Treatment is delivered to the whole body and is studied for its effect on the immune activity underneath, not applied to the skin.

How is the treatment given?

By intravenous delivery, so the cells circulate throughout the body. Where a joint is affected by psoriatic arthritis, a targeted injection may be added. A single visit to our licensed clinic in San José.

Do I stop my current medication?

Not on our account. Your existing treatment, including any biologic or topical therapy, is reviewed as part of your medical evaluation, and any change is a decision for you and your dermatologist together.

When might I notice a change?

Responses vary. Some patients report changes within weeks; others over several months. We follow up with you on a set schedule after treatment.

Who is not a candidate?

Active infection, certain cancers, and some other conditions rule treatment out. Your medical review determines candidacy, not this page.
